I’m Olivia, a freelance Picture Editor and Visual Producer based in London. I specialise in sourcing, commissioning and producing photography and visuals for leading editorial, press and event-based stories, spanning arts and culture, fashion, and lifestyle.

Born and raised in Stockport, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA in Photography before moving to London in 2005. Since then, I have worked across print and digital platforms as a Picture Editor at the BBC and Head of Photography at Sotheby’s.

My commissions have appeared in British Vogue, Financial Times, Harper’s Bazaar, and The New York Times. I was recognised for my visual design work at BBC Future and was nominated for ‘Best Use of Photography‘ at The Drum Online Media Awards.

Alongside my professional practice, I find inspiration in city walks, exploring galleries for anything documentary photography, and revisiting my personal archive, What’s in Your Bedroom. Photographed between 2009 and 2017, the project captures portraits and stories of people in their London bedrooms. I’m currently preparing the series for re-release.

While you’re here, you can follow me on Instagram or send me a message about work-related enquiries.
